Pro-Life Ministry
Every human life is a sacred gift from God, created in His image and deserving of love, dignity, and protection from conception to natural death. Rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church, the Pro-Life Ministry seeks to prayerfully witness to the Gospel of Life through education, service, advocacy, and compassionate support for mothers, fathers, families, and all those facing difficult life circumstances. We invite all parishioners to join us in building a culture of life through prayer, charity, and faithful action.

Upcoming Events
Baby Bottle Boomerang
Date: The month of October (Respect for Life Month)
Location: Baskets of bottles will be at the back of the Church
Take a baby bottle home, fill it with change/cash/checks; all proceeds will go to assist families via Carolyn’s Place, a local pregnancy/family resource center in Waterbury.
40 Days for Life Campaign
Date: September 23rd-November 1st 2026
40 Days for Life is an internationally coordinated 40 Day Campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful prayer vigil in front of abortion businesses.
Prayer Vigil and Eucharistic Adoration
Activities include:
Quiet, peaceful, non-confrontational vigils are held throughout the 40 Days – All ages welcome
8 hour Eucharist Adoration in the Parish Center Chapel
Diaper Drive

Ministry Activities
Throughout the year, our Respect Life Ministry participates in a variety of activities, including:
- Monthly prayer gatherings (includes prayer, discussion and fellowship)
- Baby bottle/Diaper drives
- Parish Picnic family Day
- Blessing Bags
- Participation in the March for Life
- Prayer outside abortion facilities (where applicable and in accordance with parish guidance)
Blessing Bags
The Pro-Life Ministry is offering Blessing Bags for all New Parishioners (p/up at Parish Office), Pregnant/New Moms, Baptisms, Weddings and those parishioners who are Homebound. These bags are the Ministry’s way of celebrating families, Sacramental events, and those in our Parish who are not able to join us at Mass. Contact the Pro-Life Ministry for more information.
